The SAGS Girls on the Run season is well underway. Girls on the Run is a program for 3rd-5th grade girls that is led by Mrs. McDaniel, Mrs. Kirkland, and Mrs. Vallejo. The girls learn about topics like peer pressure, self talk, finding good friends, sharing their emotions, and so much more. The team also does exercises and runs laps at each practice in order to work up to the 5k that they will complete next month. The girls are learning important life lessons and making lasting friendships along the way. Just like their team chant says, "Girls on the Run is so much fun!".

The SAGS 2nd Annual Carnival is just a little over a week away! Don't forget that you can preorder tickets and skip the line by filling out the form on the back of the flyer that was sent home. Send the form and cash or check made out to SAGS to Ms. Kelly. Extra preorder forms are available in the front office! Both forms of payment are accepted the night of the carnival as well. It will be a fun and exciting night for all!

Gen Abrassart and Gen Vallejo rewarded recruits with points for following directions, completing tasks, and working quietly as we prepare for IAR testing. Students ranked up to Corporal, Sergeant, Captain and even General! Awesome work, everyone! #TheSAGSway

Giant Nation, we are down to the final couple weeks with the "SCORE" program at Belson's. St. Anne Grade School is currently in 1st place. Please do not forget to remind all of your family and friends to support our school. The final day to bring in cans will be April 19th. Belson's is having an Earth Day Special on Friday, April 18th, and Saturday, April 19th with a bump in the price of cans. Go Giants!!

Mrs. Abrassart's 4th graders recently attended Kids Day at the Farm. Students learned about the important role that agriculture plays in our daily lives. There were over 20 unique presentations along with five separate farm animal exhibits. We even had the pleasure of having some of the FFA members of SACHS as our guide for the day! Such a fun and educational time!!
