Our next D.E.A.R. Event will take place on Wednesday, November 5th. This event will be called “Reading Rocks My Socks!” Students and staff are encouraged to wear their favorite crazy socks to school to celebrate reading.

🟢GIANTS IN THE CLASSROOM🟢 Mrs. Kirkland's Reading RTI group performed their Halloween skit "Three Little Witches" to preschool and primary grades. The group has been working hard on reading clearly and at a good pace, using the right volume when speaking, and reading with expression to keep their audience's attention. Is your child under the age of 5? They can receive FREE books every month.

Sign up here! Scroll down until you see the red banner for Kankakee or the blue banner for Iroquois County. They have books in English and Bilingual books.

Also, SAGS Little Free Library is loaded up with books, where "Cool Kids Read Books!"

NJHS will be at the Trunk or Treat at the high school on Friday at 5:30 pm, handing out books and candy. Come pick out a book! We have books for all kids ages 0 - 13.
