Recently, 4th grade students attended a field trip at Tri-Star Martial Arts Studio in Bradley. Students learned the importance of having an attitude of gratitude and a whatever it takes attitude. A huge shout out to Mr. Brumitt! We had a great time!!

Thursday- Pajama Day at SAGS!

Mrs. Schneider's Kindergarten class learned about Johnny Appleseed and the apple life cycle last week. Students got to practice being an illustrator, made an apple life cycle craft, and read lots of awesome books. To end the unit, students got to taste apples and graph whether or not they liked each kind of apple.

🟢GIANTS IN THE CLASSROOM🟢 Mrs. Abrassart’s 4th grade math students wrapped up their Place Value Unit with a party. Students worked together to review place value concepts and had a little fun along the way!!! #TheSAGSway

🟢GIANTS IN THE CLASSROOM🟢 STEM in Action in Ms. Goodrich’s 5th Grade Class! During RTI, 5th graders in Ms. Goodrich's class put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test with a hands-on STEM challenge. Using only straws, paper clips, and tape, students engineered devices to make a ping pong ball levitate! This activity explored the science of airflow and Bernoulli’s Principle. As students blew air through the straw, they created a fast-moving stream of air around the ball. The surrounding higher air pressure helped keep the ping pong ball suspended, making it appear to float in midair! This project combined teamwork, critical thinking, and real-world science—and our 5th grade scientists rose to the challenge. #TheSAGSway

Giants baseball will play St. George on the road. This game will be held at Diamond Point Sports Complex at Bourbonnais, and will begin at 4:30 PM. #GoGiants

Softball begins with regional quarterfinal action against the Odell Rams tonight! This game begins at 4:30 pm at Miller Memorial Park in Odell. The address is in the post. #GoGiants
