Did you know that reading to your child can greatly impact their language skills? Reading out loud builds their vocabulary, attention, memory, and imagination. St. Anne has a little free library outside the school. Check it out for some fun back-to-school stories. There is also Dr. Seuss, Minnie Mouse, look and find, Magic Tree House, and more. Stop by and pick out a book. Leave a book, take a book, or take a book and return it when you can. Let's grow our imagination together through reading. -- SAGS NJHS--

Summer Reading Opportunities!! #TheSAGSway

National Junior Honor Society and National Honor Society students were grateful to help Mayor O'Connell, Mrs. O'Connell, and friends set up the flags for Memorial Day Weekend. One of the NJHS members, Ben Nicholson, found his grandpa's flag when we were setting up. On Memorial Day we honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, and to also support the family members of those we have lost.

Last week, the 6th and 7th students went to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. It was a fun and interacting day of learning. #TheSAGSWay
