1st Quarter "Smart Action" recipients were honored this morning for going above and beyond the SAGS expectations of Respect, Responsibility, and Doing their Best. Bravo GIANTS!!


At last night's Board of Education meeting, the school board honored the Elite 8 Boy's Baseball team from this fall. St. Anne Unit District #24 and SAGS are extremely proud of your accomplishments this season. GIANT Proud!


This evening's St. Anne Unit District #24 Board of Education meeting will be held at St. Anne Community High School in the Student Center starting at 6:00 PM.

St. Anne Schools recently received a generous donation from the Let’s Ketchup Organization. Let’s Ketchup works to ensure students and families have the support and resources they need to flourish in the classroom and beyond.
The food and clothing items provided will be distributed directly to students and families. Look for more information at our upcoming Parent/Teacher Conferences.

🟢GIANTS IN THE CLASSROOM🟢
5th graders have been working hard on their 1st quarter book projects. They each chose their own book to read throughout the quarter and then completed this assignment. They did a paper bag book report which included them decorating each side of the bag with a story element like setting, characters, etc. Inside of the bags, students included four items that were related to their story in some way.

Mrs. Arthur's Kindergarten class and Mrs. Goodrich's 5th grade class did a STEM project together after learning about Christopher Columbus. They were trying to build boats that would float.

SAGS Student Council is hosting its annual Veterans Day Breakfast on Monday, November 11th at 7:30 in the library. Please use the QR code on the flyer that was sent home or on the image attached to RSVP. We wand to extend our gratitude to those that have or are currently serving!

In 3rd grade this week, the students have been working hard trying to figure out if they could outrun a dinosaur! The students measured the length of their legs using rulers and determined what dinosaur they would race, based on the dinosaur's leg length. Then, the students took turns running and and marking their steps. The students were in blue, dinosaur steps were in pink!

Students in Mrs. Kirkland’s 3rd grade class last month spent time learning about 9/11 and created a remembrance ribbon in honor of those who lost their lives 23 years ago.

Mrs. Larson and her 1st-grade class adopted a calf through the St. Louis Dairy Council. As a class, they voted on her name, which was Chocolate. Each month the class receives updates, informational videos, and handouts to learn more about Chocolate and Dairy Farms. #TheSAGSway

During the 1st quarter in Science, all 3rd grade students have been learning about a variety of ecosystems, how ecosystems have changed over time, and adaptations that animals have to survive in their ecosystems. Keep up the great work 3rd grade!
