Students in Mrs. Crawford class have been learning about Fall Traditions Unit. It has been a wonderfully rich experience that blended cultural studies, research, and creative hands-on activity. Our unit began by delving into the most popular fall traditions here in the United States. The next part of our unit the students researched and presented on fall or harvest-time traditions from their own family backgrounds or other countries around the world. This sparked incredible discussions and helped us all appreciate cultural diversity. We culminated the unit with the classic American tradition: pumpkin carving!

Together, we showed up not only to cheer on our teams but to stand in solidarity with those affected by breast cancer. All proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
